UN Ambassadors’ Mission to Poland & Israel 2025

A delegation of UN ambassadors from 30+ countries participated in a mission to Poland and Israel, commemorating the 80th anniverssary of the liberation of Auschwitz and engaging with Israel and it's people in the aftermath of Oct 7.

About the Mission

The experience was carefully curated to connect history with present-day reality, tracing the Jewish people’s journey from the Holocaust through the events of October 7, and into the ongoing resilience, innovation, and strength of the State of Israel today. A central aim of the mission was to deepen relationships between Israel and UN member states by fostering understanding through firsthand experience, while highlighting Israeli innovation and its relevance to global cooperation.

The mission to Poland and Israel was an eye opener to the objective realities of opportunities and challenges in Israeli society. Thank you all for your generosity and friendship. I look forward to further mutual engagements in New York.
