Experience shows that nothing shifts understanding like an up-close, firsthand visit. Israel Up Close brings influential figures and global leaders to Israel for immersive, multi-day programs designed to foster direct engagement with Israeli society, culture, and institutions. Participants meet with senior government officials, entrepreneurs, and business leaders, gaining perspective that cannot be replicated from afar.
Each visit is carefully curated to address the unique interests and priorities of the delegation. The engagement does not end when the trip concludes—we continue the dialogue to sustain relationships and build on the momentum created during the visit.

Conclusion
To date, IO Initiative has brought more than 100 United Nations ambassadors, diplomats, and world leaders from across the globe to experience Israel Up Close. These visits have proven impactful for participants, often shifting their understanding of Israel and contributing positively to their countries’ bilateral engagement. Since its inception, the program has also generated more than 250 pieces of media coverage worldwide.
